ग्रेटर नोएडा निवासी धीरज की शादी के लिए कुसुम उर्फ लाली, बब्लू और भीम सिंह ईको कार से बिहार गए थे। जहां पर धीरज की रिंकी से शादी हुई थी। शादी के बाद धीरज-रिंकी व अन्य लोग कार से वापस घर जा रहे थे। कार राहुल चला रहा था। इस दौरान सिविल लाइंस थाना क्षेत्र में अजीतपुर बाईपास पर कार यूपी 16सीवी 6720 को सामने से मुरादाबाद की ओर से आ रहे डीसीएम यूपी 15 एफटी 0199 ने टक्कर मार दी। हादसे के बाद मौके पर लोगों की भीड़ लग गई। लोगों ने पुलिस को भी सूचना दे दी।

सूचना पर मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने जेसीबी मंगवाकर स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से शव व घायलों को बाहर निकाला। हादसे में चार लोगों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई जबकि रिंकी व एक अन्य की मौत जिला अस्पताल में उपचार के दौरान हो गई। हादसे के बाद डीसीएम चालक मौके से फरार हो गया। पुलिस ने परिजनों को सूचना दे दी है।
