आसीवन थाना क्षेत्र के मुण्डा निवासी चन्दन (35) पुत्र स्व मनीराम की हत्या का खुलासा बांगरमऊ सीओ आशुतोष ने थाना परिसर में किया। कहा कि 18 सितम्बर 2020 को युवक की मां तिलाका ने बहू पर बेटे को गायब करने की गुमशुदगी दर्ज कराया था।  पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही थी। इसी बीच युवक के भाई राकेश ने 26 जुलाई को पुलिस को तहरीर देकर उसकी पत्नी गीता उर्फ शिवकुमारी व पडोसी गांव के खेवरई निवासी मुर्शीद पर हत्या का आरोप लगाया। पुलिस ने दोनो को नंगाखेडा चौराहे के पास से गिरफ्तार किया। कड़ाई से पूछताछ में मुर्शीद के मुताबिक मुंडा से करीब पच्चास मीटर दूर शराब ठेका के पास शराब पिलाकर गला दबाकर हत्या कर दी और शव को हरदोई नहर ब्रांच में फेंक दिया ।

उसके पास आधार कार्ड व बैंक पासबुक को पालीथीन में करके झाड़ियों के पास जमीन में गाड दिया था । पुलिस ने इन साक्ष्यों व इकबालिया बयान के आधार पर पत्नी व उसके प्रेमी के साथ डेढ़ वर्ष की बच्ची बेबी को जेल भेज दिया। खुलासे से पहले मां के अनुसार बहू टहलाती रही कि पति कमाने कहीं गया है बेटी की शादी में घर आयेगा। चार बच्चों में बेटी शुभांती (19) आकाश (13) अंजली (5) एक दुधमुही बच्ची बेबी डेढ़ वर्ष हैं। 18 मई को पौत्री की शादी थी बेटी की शादी में बेटा घर नहीं आया। तब अनहोनी की आशंका हुई। मां ने 18 जुलाई को एसपी को प्रार्थना पत्र देकर मामले की जांच कराने की मांग की थी।
