टैक्सीअवे पर ही हवाईअड्डे के अधिकारियों ने जल्द ही उसे हिरासत में ले लिया, हालांकि इसके बाद शख्स को अस्पताल ले जाया गया और चलते विमान से कूदने की वजह से जो चोटें आई थीं, उसका इलाज हुआ। बता दें कि शख्स को कोई गंभीर या जानलेवा चोट नहीं लगी थी।

अधिकारियों ने बताया कि शख्स की इस हरकत के बाद भी तीन घंटे तक विमान अपनी उड़ान नहीं भर सका। हालांकि विमान में सवार कोई दूसरी शख्स इस घटना से घायल नहीं हुआ। इसके बाद इस मामले की जांच के आदेश एफबीआई को दे दिया गया। पिछले दो दिनों में लॉस एंजेलिस अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाईअड्डे पर ये दूसरी घटना हुई है।

वहीं पिछले गुरुवार को फेडएक्स कार्गो सुविधा में चेन लिंक बाड़ को तोड़ने के बाद एक ड्राइवर हवाई क्षेत्र में चला गया। इसके बाद वो रनवे पार करने लगा लेकिन जल्द ही पुलिस ने उसे और उसकी कार को जब्त कर लिया और हिरासत में ले लिया। पुलिस ने बताया कि ड्राइवर को कई चेट नहीं आई। फेडरल एविएशन एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (एफएए) ने बताया कि इस साल में अनियंत्रित यात्रियों की ओर से अबतक तीन हजार से ज्यादा बार ब्रैकआउट की घटनाएं सामने आई हैं। इनमें से ज्यादातर यात्रियों ने विमान के अंदर मास्क ना पहनने को लेकर नियमों को तोड़ा है।
