गौर करने वाली बात यह है कि जांच में मुख्य रूप से सिंचाई विभाग के अधिकारी कर्मचारी दोषी पाए गए हैं । जिन पर शासकीय धन के दुरुपयोग के आरोप लगे हैं । बता दें, कि  जिलाधिकारी द्वारा घोटाले की विस्तृत रिपोर्ट उन्नाव मुख्य विकास अधिकारी दिव्यांशु पटेल को सौंप दी गई है । मामले में मुख्य विकास अधिकारी का कहना है कि संलिप्त दोषियों को कड़ी से कड़ी सजा दी जाएगी  । इसके साथ ही पिछले समय में किए गए कार्यों की भी एक एक कर जांच की जाएगी ।
