ईएनटी विशेषज्ञ डॉ. अमित त्यागी की ओर से दी गई जानकारी के अनुसार अस्पताल में भर्ती जिन मरीजों में ब्लैक फंगस की पुष्टि हुई है, उनमें देहरादून से दो, हरिद्वार से तीन, रुड़की से दो, ऋषिकेश, काशीपुर, ऊधम सिंह नगर और अल्मोड़ा से एक-एक मरीज शामिल है। वहीं उत्तर प्रदेश के शामली, अलीगढ़, मंडावर, मुरादाबाद और मेरठ के पांच मरीज हैं। गौरतलब है कि एम्स ऋषिकेश में ब्लैक फंगस के प्रभावित 17 मरीज मिलने के बाद अस्पताल प्रशासन ने इनके लिए अलग वार्ड बनाया है। ब्लैक फंगस के मरीजों को वहां शिफ्ट कर दिया गया है। डॉ. अमित त्यागी के मूताबिक इस वार्ड में आइसीयू की सूविधा उपलब्ध है ।
